As we enter our second year, we face a new and exciting set of challenges, the biggest of which is our move to a bigger farm.

Mud, sweat and tears were had all around at the first annual Old Glory Trail Trot.

We would like to extend our thanks and graitude to the Triangle Wine Company of Southern Pines, NC for hosting a fundraising event on our behalf.

It's support like this from our community that makes it possible for us to give lasting memories to soldiers and their families.

Old Glory Festival and Plow Day
Starts: Saturday, May 17th, 2014 at 8:00 AM
Ends: Saturday, May 17th, 2014 at 5:00 PM
Location: OGLF Farm, 27323 Harold Morris Road Wagram, NC 28396

Ever wondered what it was like when the land was worked by horses and mules? Here's your chance!

Come to the Old Glory Festival and Plow day, presented by the North Carolina Mule and Workhorse Association, to see teams of giant horses and mules pulling antique and modern farm implements, wagons and buggies of all shapes and sizes, and a display of antique tractors and cars.

There will be a hearty breakfast for the plowers, a delicious BBQ chicken lunch, and crock-pot stew for dinner (meals free for plowers; available for purchase for spectators).

There will be demonstrations of many different equine sports: Polo, Dressage, Jumping, Barrel Racing, and even jump by the All Veteran Parachute Team at noon!

There will be snacks and drinks for sale, t-shirts, silent auction, and more.

Don't miss out on an opportunity to step back in time and enjoy a family day together at the Old Glory Farm...and at the same time support a great cause.

Camping is available Friday and Saturday night for those coming from out of town.
